The drawing

A rustic landscape dominated by a weathered wooden cottage with a sagging roof, damaged doorway, and vegetation growing over its walls. Discarded barrels, broken fencing, scattered timbers, and other objects occupy the foreground. A large tree partially obscures the building at right, while an open landscape extends into the distance at left. Dense, energetic strokes contrast with the lightly rendered sky and distant foliage, emphasizing the textures of the decaying structure and its surroundings.
