Nathan Admonishing David
Nathan vor David
Rembrandt
In a museum
The drawing
Nathan confronts the seated King David over his actions toward Bathsheba and Uriah. David appears frail and remorseful as the prophet gently reaches toward him, emphasizing repentance rather than royal authority.
